Hi,
my name is sandra and I am almost 37 years old.First of all I would like to thank my very bestest friend for giving me this page so
that you can get to know me.
I live in Toronto,Ontario with the one true love of my life-my son Shane,who has just turned 8.
I work full time as a Credit Manager for a very dynamic young sporting goods company.We deal mostly in the extreme
genre of sports with snowboards,wakeboards and skateboards.We are the proud owners of "Lamar"snowboards,Ryka and Yukon Footwear.
Our company is growing faster than the speed of light.We have some very adverse personalities working for our company,but
over all I would say that we are one big happy family(a dysfunctional family-but a family none the less).
My main focus in my life and the reason that I put up with everything that happens at work,is my son Shane.He is the most incredible little
kid in the world.He is funny,compassionate,sensitive and ALL boy.He is not afraid to take risks.He is currently studying Karate and is working on his purple belt.His main goal in life is to be a black belt.I think with his dedication he will have no
problems.
He is also an avid basketball player.He is still too short to hit the high baskets but that doesn't stop him trying.
I enjoy reading and listening to music.If you listen to the music on Petes pages you will understand the type of
music that I also enjoy(Music is just one of many things that we have in common).
I enjoy reading best selling fiction-my favourite authors are Patricia Cornwell,Jonathon Kellerman,Faye Kellerman,Mary Higgins Clarke and I must admit I really enjoy
Danielle Steel.
I like all types of music-I am a sucker for a good love song.I can't say that I really have any favourites although Celine Dion and Elton John are long time faves.There are certain songs that mean a lot to to both Pete and myself,but
there is no use boring you with the details.
I enjoy recreational swimming and I am hoping that in the future somone will teach me to sail.
I like cooking when I have the time.There are certain things that I cook well and other things not so
well.I enjoy a nice roast beef-but
it has to be cooked medium(only problem Pete and I have,he likes to overcook his beef).
I have the most wonderful set of parents that any person could hope for.My only problem is that I do not get to see them
very often.But I hope all that will change ,as they have just bought a new house in Ontario.They are currently living in Winterpeg,Manitoba.
It will be very nice for my son to get to spend more time with his Grandparents.He is really missing out on a
lot.My dad is a golfer and a fisherman and it would be great for Shane to learn an appreciation for these things(I never did).
WOW!!! Can I ramble on about nothing???? I hope this gives you a little bit of an insight into who and what I am.It has
been great sharing the above with you and once again a very special thank you to a very special man for allowing me this oppertunity.
